Our Services
Utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our clinicians provide ABA therapy 1-on-1 with children to foster communication and social skills, independence in daily routines, and celebrate their success and growth. We serve children with autism, and other similiar developmental delays in the Duluth, Hermantown, and Cloquet area. Our goal is for the children we serve to have the skills to communicate their needs, engage with others, and be better prepared to participate in a school setting. We specialize in providing early intervention services; our learners are typically between the ages of 2-7 years old.
Intake & Assessment
As your child begins their journey with us, we will first complete a Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (CMDE) to determine eligibility for ABA services, and provide diagnostic testing as needed. Using assessment data, clinicians will develop individualized treatment plans, designed to foster skills in communication, social skills, daily living skills, and school readiness.
An autism diagnosis is not required to be eligible for services.
To get started on your child’s ABA therapy journey, please fill out an intake form using the button below. The “client intake form” will appear. Before submitting the form, please carefully fill in your child’s information, guardian information, and attach the following forms if you are able:
1. Front/Back copy of your insurance card
2. Copy of CMDE or Diagnostic Evaluation
3. Well-child Check
4. IEP
Once your form has been submitted, our team will reach out to connect with you. We will meet with you and your child to assess their needs, complete a Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation (CMDE) if needed, and then create an individualized treatment plan outlining how ABA therapy will support your child and your family.
1-on-1 ABA Therapy
1-on-1 ABA therapy means your child will work directly with trained RBTs during their day. These sessions are tailored to your child’s unique needs and focus on building important skills and reducing challenging behaviors. The ABA therapist uses fun, structured activities to teach and reinforce positive behaviors, all while tracking progress every step of the way.
When participating in daily sessions children play together, and with staff, in a classroom setting. During play, clinicians strive for happy, relaxed, and engaged learners, and integrate learning opportunities into ongoing play routines. Specific goals outlined in learner’s treatment plans are targeted across their day.
ABA therapy is provided one-on-one, meaning your child works directly with a trained provider during each session. This personalized approach allows providers to focus on your child’s unique needs, strengths, behaviors, and goals.
Sessions will take place in our clinic. Through fun, structured activities, and positive reinforcement, therapists help your child build new skills—including communication, social interaction, adaptive, and self-care skills—while also reducing unwanted behaviors. Your child’s progress is closely monitored, and their treatment plan is adjusted as they grow, learn, and progress.
Family Guidance
Family guidance training is a key part of ABA services that helps caregivers learn how to support their child’s progress at home and in the community. During family sessions, your BCBA will teach you strategies used in ABA therapy, answer questions, review your child’s progress, and guide you through challenges your child may be facing. This helps create consistency across settings and empowers families to feel confident in supporting their child’s development. Family guidance is scheduled biweekly and tailored to your family’s goals and needs.
Collaboration as a team is an important step when approaching daily living skills, including dressing, eating, and potty training. As your child continues to grow with us, we will work closely with you to identify key skills to support your child’s independence at home and in the community.
We welcome any members of your child’s team to collaborate with us, from speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, PCAs, grandparents, or other caregivers and service providers. Consistency is key to children’s learning and development, and as a united team we can best support your child’s growth.
Together, our team will work to ensure your child is able to demonstrate skills in the home and community settings.
